49 people are dead, and more than 650 have been injured in a series of earthquakes that hit Albania since early hours of Tuesday morning, the Express reported.
Large Italian clubs and various famous footballers, including the 2018 World Cup winner with France, Paul Pogba, have prayed for victims of this tragic disaster and have expressed solidarity with all the Albanian people since Tuesday.
Solidarity and prayer for Albania also come from the neighbouring state club Greece, Panathinaikos, whose fans share the pain with the Albanian people for earthquake victims.
Panathinaiko fans unveiled a very exciting banner in the challenge to Basconia, in support of the Albanian people by writing: pain and solidarity do not know borders! Call the Albanian people”.
Even the official site of Panathinaikos was solidified with Albanians after the tragic earthquake, writing on the official Facebook account: “the pain of your soul is our pain. The deadly quake has left dozens dead in Albania. Pray for Albania”
