Two municipalities in Kosovo have cancelled all first activities for the November 28th footnote in Kosovo.
This country comes after earthquakes that occurred in Albania that have caused serious consequences in human lives and material damage.
The Malisheva municipality through a media communique has indicated that it has halted all previous activities on November 28th after earthquakes that occurred in Albania, where some people remained dead and many others injured.
“Mayor of the Malisheva municipality Ragip Begaj, after consulting the responsible municipal bodies, decided to suspend all previous events for marking November 28th. The Malisheva municipality solidifies with the brothers and sisters in Albania by today's earthquake at the same time expresses pain for those who lost loved ones in this natural disaster”, it is written in the statement.
While the municipality of Lipjan has made the same decision.
Through a media conference, this municipality's information office reports that it has cancelled festive activities in terms of solidarity with earthquake victims and their families in Albania.
“Lipjan Community Chairman Imri Ahmeti in solidarity with the victims of the earthquake in Albania and their families has cancelled all previous festive activities to be held under November 28th note. We share the pain with Albanian citizens who lost their lives from the consequences of the earthquake. In this case, we express comfort to families with the courage to cope with this loss, of this situation. In these circumstances in the name of the Lipjan Community, and in the name of all the lipjanians, we express comfort to all families who lost their most loved ones”, said Imri Ahmeti”, it becomes known in the announcement. /Periscopi/
