Another earthquake has hit the southeastern city of Korca. The last tremors were recorded with magnitude 2.7. According to the Institute of Genocensities, Energy, Water and Environment (IGJEUM), the earthquake had been anchored in Montenegro, 10km from Bilish, while the depth was 17km deep.
These quakes follow yesterday's massive 5.2 hit of the Richter scale. The quake's episode was 3km northeast of Mira and 11km southeast of Korca.
The city of Korca was affected by powerful earthquakes during the month of June. As a result, Civil Emergencys reported that 100 houses, of which 50 were old and uninhabited, were damaged. The most affected villages in the balance of damage resulted in Floqi, Dvorani, Qafzeza and Vidohova.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, September 21, our country was rocked by three powerful earthquakes, one with a magnitude of 5.8. Richter and intensity over 7.5, located 30km north of the city of Durres. According to the IGEUM, this was the strongest experience in the country in the bow of the last 2030 years. Earthquakes caused massive material damage as well as over 105 injuries.
