An unusual event has occurred in Bolivia, where a group of protesters have beaten, painted red, cut their hair, and dragged Mayor Patricia Arce.
Anderce is mayor of the town of Vinto in Bolivia and also a member of President Evo Morales' Movement for Socialism party. Bolivia has recently been involved in deadly protests after winning President Evo Morales' election on October 20th over claims that the votes were manipulated.
A mob marched into the city hall, where they accused the Ark of bringing forces to end their blockade and blamed it for the deaths of two protesters. In a video that is being circulated on social networks, Arce appears surrounded by masked protesters saying: “I am not afraid to tell my truth. I'm in a free country and I won't be locked up even if they want to kill me. For this process change I will also give my life”, Mayor Arce said.
