After competing on three different weights, he decided to prove himself to a much larger opponent, writes Periscope.
Alvarez started with very low intensity, and failed to launch any fists properly in the first round, with Kovalev easily controlling the mechi.
The second part was marked by a return of Canelo, but “Destroyer” Kovalev was still trying to fight back until there was much restraint as he got closer to his conclusion.
Canelo was showing discretion and patience until he showed true power in the 11th round when he brutally nominated Kovalev / Periscope. com/
