No rare cases have been when children are also attacked by animals, and the same animals continue to be protected by nongovernmental organizations that have come out against their murder but as a solution not to the death of people by dogs, they see sterilization preventing their breeding and vaccine against rage.
And the number of citizens who sought medical help at QKUK was not small for this year. Lindita Ayzay Berisha, U.D. Director of the Infectious Clinic at QKUK, has said that by the end of October, there have been about 350 cases of dog bites, mainly wanderers.
“Infective Clinic by 31.10,2019 have been dealt with in ambulances 348 cases with the vulus morsum cani diagnosis (a dog bite, usually wandering and rare cases even the dog of the house), while there was only one hospitalised case that after treatment was released at home”
Infectology has now added that at the moment there is no hospitalized case at the Infectious Clinic.
Otherwise, it is said that the country is about 150,000 stray dogs. And the biggest danger of them comes mainly in winter season.
