“Although the Constitution of Kosovo is clear regarding the formation of government and the reactors belonging to non-most communities, the candidate for prime minister, Albin Kurti will not accept that in the government there will be any person who, instead of defending Kosovo's interests, will defend Serbia's” interests, Tahiri has said in a Serbian-language show in RTK2, the Telegrafi conveys.
Tahiri is convinced that the Serbian List will not have any minister in Kosovo's government, if Albin Kurti becomes prime minister, for the fact that “prime minister proposes to everyone who represents the interests of the community, in accordance with the government's policy, not against it”.
Speaking of the possibility of continuing dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, if Albin Kurti becomes prime minister, Tahiri says Vetevendosje leader will seek talks on the basis of the equals.
Kosovo's “Theme will not be on the table, but interstate relations. We will see how this works and whether the Serb side will agree. However, no one can contest that right, because under the Constitution and the law, it represents Kosovo”, Tahiri said.
