Prosecutor Atnor Skoro has represented an indictment involving defendant B in court today. R, and around 1300 p.m., returning to his post, near the Constitutional Prosecutor's facility in Prizren, the suspect B.R. has appeared before prosecutor Skoro and physically attacked him, hitting him in the head, where, after carrying out this act, the suspect has quickly fled the scene, and the same one is on the run at the moment.
Currently, Prosecutor Atnor Skoro is receiving medical treatment at Prizren Regional Hospital for injuries caused by the assailant.
The chief state prosecutor's office reacts strongly to this illegal act and stands close to prosecutor Skoro and any other prosecutor by supporting them in carrying out daily tasks in fulfilling their constitutional and legal mission.
Therefore, all those who think that by such acts will try to influence state prosecutors to step down from following the perpetrators of criminal acts are wrong because prosecutors will continue their work they have sworn in and for which the Constitution and the laws of the Republic of Kosovo are binding.
The chief state prosecutor's office assures the public that this issue is being seriously addressed and with the proper emergency level that this situation deserves.
