The Court of Serious Crimes Appeals has sentenced Clement Balilin to 10 years in prison.
Balil was found guilty of the charge of “trafficking of narcotics in co-operation” and was convicted of this 14 years in prison for the accusation of “participation in the structured criminal group” 2.6 years in prison, for <x4-refused statements, no statements, or false statement of civil servants” to 6 months in prison, and for “money laundering <x7 years in prison.
In combination of all sentences, he was sentenced to 15 years in prison, but because of his cut trial, Balili seized a reduction of 1/3 sentence, eventually serving 10 years.
