The “Ambassador Honor of the Republic of Kosovo” award has been shared with Ryu Shinoya, Kosovo Friendship Group chairman. -Japon in Japan's Assembly for his contribution to promoting Kosovo to Japan.
The Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kosovo in Japan, at the same time the Special Adviser of Japan Prime Minister Isao Ijima, has been honoured at the “Ambassadorship of the Republic of Kosovo” to promote and affirm the interests of the Republic of Kosovo in Japan and beyond.
Ambassador Yoshifumi Okamura, who has served as adviser to P The SS under the United Nations Mission in Kosovo, which is best known in Kosovo as the Japanese ambassador to the United Nations, which has promoted Kosovo wine to the UN Security Council, has been given the title “D. Ibrahim Rugova” for his contribution to building peace and developing democracy in Kosovo.
Former UNMIK Administrator in Skenderaj, Ken Inue, has been divided into the Presidential Medal “Mother Teresa” for his contribution to humanity and peace in Kosovo, especially his personal commitment to the then healing of little girl Besiana Musliu, who had suffered severe head burns during the war.
Same medal and same excuse has been shared with the Agency ADRA and Tokyo Adventist Hospital.
This ceremony, organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Tokyo, Japan, has also been attended by the president of the Republic of Albania, Ilir Meta.
President Thaci expressed a sense of obligation but also a privilege to express gratitude to those who did the right thing at the right time.
There is no doubt that friends are known in difficult times”, President Thaci said, and added that today Kosovo is a partner of the international community and has started giving the world more than it gets “by offering the world talents and skills in many fields, from technology to sports and art”.
