Police at schools against domestic violence

According to police, during the month of October, lectures with primary school students are being held on the theme "Dunga in the family," where mainly nine-graders are involved.

“During this time, speeches have been heard by some 460 students of 14 different schools in the Mitrovica region. These speeches were delivered by police officials in the respective field, where students were legalized for domestic violence as a very specific phenomenon by the fact that they occur within the family, so it is necessary to treat them in particular and professionally by all. The continued measures and commitment the police are undertaking with other institutional mechanisms in preventing the phenomenon of cases with elements of domestic violence reflect the seriousness and active access to prevention”, the statement said.
