The process of verifying votes coming from Serbia has been stopped yesterday as a result of poisoning 26 CEC officials, who shortly after the opening of envelopes coming from the Serbian state has been caused by allergies in their hands and faces. The CEC has said they still don't know exactly what happened Sunday.
Over 20 people allegedly were poisoned as a result of the smell of envelopes coming from Serbia.
Some of them, including two pregnant women, have suffered from allergies in hand and face during yesterday, with scratches laid out at the KKUK Infectious Clinic for medical treatment.
In a communiqué issued by the Hospital Service, the Kosovo Clinical and University Clinic (SHSKUK) is said to be stable.
However, after all this case, the decision has been made to have the voting verification process suspended indefinitely.
Representatives of the LVV have said Kosovo state authorities should investigate the causes of poisoning, as should packages coming from Serbia.
These packages according to them have come illegally to Kosovo.
Despite these, CEC officials assured citizens that electoral integrity will not be affected, despite what happened Sunday, writes “Zeri”.
At a time when the voting recounting process is under way in several CEC polls has made a decision to reject over 4,500 packages of paper revenues from the diaspora.
