State chief prosecutor Alexander Lumez's message in honour of the 10-year anniversary of” Week for the Rights of Crime Victims“
As the chief state prosecutor, I appreciate that in the face of this week, we have prioritized victims' rights, but also a serious warning for perpetrators of the rights of the victims of crime, because these rights are guaranteed with the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Kosovo and enter into the framework of fundamental rights, and, as such, should be protected at any cost by state institutions.
My commitment as chief state prosecutor and all relevan mechanisms will not lack the cases of crime victims being handled directly through all procedures, while perpetrators receive merit sentences.
