These elections were won by the Vetevendosje Movement with the candidate for prime minister, Albin Kurtin.
In an interview for Top Channel envoy in Pristina Muhamed Veliu, Albin Kurti has also talked about relations with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Muhammad Veliu: What is your message to Albanians in Albania and how do you look to building relations with Prime Minister Edi Rama?
Albin Kurti: I believe we will co-operate well, I know the prime minister of the Republic of Albania we need those agreements that have so far been signed as much as we can implement. I believe it would have been good to have government commissions in terms of foreign policy, security protection and the protection of natural resources, but also a joint civil and business registry. As Kosovo and Albania have space to integrate with each other much more than the actual case is, so I enjoy the cooperation I will have with the Republic of Albania because the needs of citizens and my will are for it.
