Haradinaj: Kosovo to declare sports state, increase investments

Nominated for Prime Minister by AAK coalition- PSD, Ramush Haradinaj, has held a working lunch today with representatives of sports federations in the country and Kosovo Olympic Committee Chairman Besim Hasani.

Haradinaj has said he has presented his concept for Kosovo as a state of sport before them.

He also mentioned the Law for sponsorship, which was adopted during his governing mandate but was long held hostage.

On this mandate, we have successfully lived the Law for Sponsorization, obstructed and sidelined for many years. We have invested in the Kosovo National Stadium, the Judo Centre in Pec, and dozens of sports halls throughout the country. In our government programme, we pledge ourselves to our athletes, so that Kosovo can declare a state of sport, by investing in closing the necessary infrastructure, stadiums, sports gyms, sports schools and in promoting and stimulating talents”, wrote Haradinaj on Facebook.

He has said Kosovo athletes are continuing to be the biggest Kosovo promoters in the world.
