Coalition observers from NGOs “Democracy in Action” who are conveying the ballot counting process have reported that:
In the Gjakova Skivjan School, “Uktin Miftari”, at the site 0214C/03R, there has been an incident where a political subject observer physically attacked the leaders of this deployment, preventing the same one from performing official office.
According to DnV, police have gone to the scene and taken over the deployment by removing all commissioners and observers from the poll in question.
In Gjakova, in the School “Nexedin Nexha”, at the 0203 polling site. X/01R has been recorded a case when a commissioner during the counting process has intervened in the balloting, marking it. DnV observers have denounced the case at the Kosovo Police.
DnV expects the responsible institutions to take all necessary measures to ensure a calm and free democratic atmosphere and elections.
DnV calls on the election management troops to get added attention during the count of ballots in order to ensure the integrity of the counting process.
