“Ten days ago dead chickens were buried somewhere in secret, but last days' rainfall threw them into the river and then taken to the Adriatic Sea. County police, assisted by local district agencies, have begun the investigation process to find the cause of the person who caused this pollution in the Buna River. This environmental crime now with the Penal Code is no longer a crime that is only fined, but it is a crime that is criminally punishable at”.
Klosi warned businesses, local government, but citizens to be careful with the treatment of waste and deposit.
We call on all businesses once again, but citizens as well as local governments, to think carefully about urban waste treatment. The rivers of our country are no site of urban waste”.
A working group from the protection agency, Veterinary Inspectorate and Shkodra municipality under the influence of this district's Prefecture are clearing the river and burying under all hygienic conditions a considerable amount of dead chickens. The event will continue until full cleanup of the area.
