Four days after incumbent Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj had resigned, the Justice Ministry, led by Abelard Tahiri, on July 23rd of this year had launched competition for 79 free swimming positions in 35 Kosovo municipalities, writes the newspaper “Zri” today.
But from the announcement of the competition to the appointment of swimmers, this process has faced numerous criticism from civil society and the recent international community, who have cautioned about the unfair criteria set by the Kosovo Ministry of Justice. Except for the criteria set, in the reaction of the International Union of Notters and the German Federal Oade Noteria, The MD is also criticised for increasing the number of swimmers in Kosovo.
On the other side, representatives of civil society, as well as connoisseur of the justice system for “Zen” have indicated that since the competition was declared following Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's resignation, the outgoing justice ministry has no legitimacy to prosecute the appointment of new swimmers. Among other things, they have stressed that the appointment of swimmers is becoming on party and family grounds, so this process must be returned to zero point.
