What's going on with the “Blue Eye” in Albania? Its sale Cancels

After publishing from the “Gazeta Shqip”, of the contract to rent the wooden cabins, to the Green Eye, the Finance Ministry has suspended procedures.

But, meanwhile, Top Channel has learned that for renting this state property the Ministry of Environment has also granted permission, while Minister Klosi, questioned by the media, called the auction “anomali of institutions”.

For 20 years these cabins are rented at an even more ridiculous price, of only $15,000 a month, while “Albtourist TO”, the state society that manages, has been in financial trouble for four years, and even so many years its employees have not received salaries.

The auction for the Green Eye has been cancelled, but in the meantime another similar property many times greater within the protected areas is required to be leased.

It's about 2,500 square meters of land, Drilon Park, Tusset, Pogradec. According to the reporting document, the floor value for renting is $162,600 a month, while over 1800 square metres of property are functional for the exercise of tourist activity in the field of accommodation.

Even in this case, the Ministry of Moses has given its approval. The APP report says that the rent of property is intended to use it to exercise economic activities, which generate income for society and boost employment and investment.
