Analyst from the diaspora, Bleron Baraliu, has commented on comparisons that have been made especially in the online media about Ibrahim Rugova's number of votes in 2001 and Albin Kurti now.
He says taking pride in Albin's 180 thousand votes is no different than the pride with Hashim's votes once.
Baraliu goes on to write that we don't have a big victory like VVI's fanatics design it.

On the other hand, when I was proud of Albin's 180k votes, it's not very different from having 200k+ votes of Hashimi/ PDKse. Both make up about 13% of the vote. So it's not about great profits as fanatic VVists are producing, but it's about a minority vote and a better victory.
