The last time the award was won by Ajax defender De League last year, before it reached the semifinals of the Champions League and then finalised a transfer to Juventus.
The great favourite this time is the attacker of Atletico Madrid and Portugal, Joachim Felix, and the winner will be announced in Turin on 16 December.
