Former Valancia, Rome assailant shining as movie actor

John Carew has been retired from active football for nearly seven years. Everyone has been waiting for him to be dedicated further to this sport, since he also attended training training and received the right licenses toward the end of his career.

However, 39-year-old Carew has surprised many when he decided to turn his back on the sport that gave him much money and fame.

The 195cm-long ex-attack has been dedicated to its career as an actor and photographer, the Koha Ditore broadcast.

He's already played in some movies of different dice. It's debuted in the horror film “Dead of Winter”, Canadian production, and that's when things are going well.

Then there was the leading role in the action film “Hovdinger”, Norwegian production, while in the drama “Heimebane” played the footballer. He has won the best performance award in Norway three times in a row but also for the best role in drama.

I've always loved acting, but because of my commitments as a football player I haven't been able to commit. After withdrawing from football, I decided to pursue the dream that I had as a child and things are going very well”, Carew said. I don't miss football, because I'm doing acting. It is another world I have adapted very well to, and I have great goals for the future”.
