For the third time, companies from Kosovo are participating in international fair
“IM”, currently held in Kiln, Germany, from January 14th-20th, January 2019.
In support of Kosovo companies, Trade and Industry Minister Andrew Shala has visited the products of Kosovo companies displayed at the fair, which is one of the largest international furniture and route fairs.
Given the support of local producers, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, which Minister Andrew Shala directs, the timber sector has placed on top of the top priority, which with the current export deserves a maximum estimate, even for high costs, has enabled the participation of Kosovo businesses in this fair of very high interest to entrepreneurs.
MTI/ K IESA for the realisation of this fair, where Kosovo companies appear in spaces of over 500 m2, has set up a budget worth 77 thousand and 187 euros (the budget which has been left on U n The NDP, and at the same time, has been paid this value directly to the IMM organiser, while the rest are covered by USAID, GIZ, AIDS and Kosovo companies themselves.
Kosovo companies, which are participating in the fair, are: “ELNOOR”, “A LBED”, “G RANTI” and “VENTIUS” (Micturing mattresses) which are presenting their products, such as kitchens, bedrooms, couches, tables, chairs, mattresses, and various elements of the enterry.

Therefore, MTI and KIESA through institutional forms are stimulating production companies for participation in international fairs to promote Kosovo products and simultaneously create opportunities for export growth and in particular for raising Kosovo's image through good representation and exposure of quality products.
Knowing that Europe's market is an attractive market for Kosovo producers both in terms of proximity and in terms of exchange of experiences, and for that reason this sector is set in the MTI's work plan./ K IESA for organising participation at the 2019 IMM fair and MW 2019.
The current experience of participating in these fairs has shown that the timber sector is growing steadily and that products from this sector are creating new and safe export markets to Europe.
Based on last year's data from the KPS, it is expected to have exports worth 900 thousand euros in 2019, as a result of exposure of Kosovo products to the fair.
The Ministry of Trade and Industry, led by Minister Andrew Shala, will be constantly committed to supporting and promoting local businesses. /Periscopi
