The sexually transmitted infection (STI) is becoming increasingly difficult to treat and is now able to fight three common drugs.
It comes in the midst of a major increase in cases. There have been nearly 45,000 diagnosiss in England in 2017, an increase of 22 percent in just one year, the figures show.
Super-gonorrea is one of many antibiotics resistant infections, which together kill about 700,000 people worldwide every year.
Patients are usually given ceftriax and azitromycin to fight gonorren.
A Public Health report found that resistance to these three drugs continues to increase by restricting available access to disease.
