We know that alcoholic beverages tend to get a bad reputation in the health world, even though most of us don't know how to get through the festive season without drinking. But so far, studies have said that a glass of wine a day has health benefits. Some say red wine is good for the heart. Others say it's not. But a study by the American Cancer Research Association, drinking white wine can cause skin cancer. Rather, the more you consume it, the more dangerous you are to melanoma.
Of course, this does not mean that if you drink white wine, you are automatically touched by skin cancer. Experts caution that we should be careful.
“Consumption with adequate amounts of alcohol reduces the risk of coronary disease. Thus, both the benefits and the risks of alcohol must be considered”, the study says.
