Message from former missing attacker's clubs

Premier's former attacker, the Emilyano Sala League, are praying for the state of their former player. Those on the social Twitter network have posted a photo with the inscription “tell us it's a Emi joke, all team players are thinking of you”.

Cardiff City had formalised Lana's transfer from Nantes for 17m euros on Saturday, and Sala had returned to France to say goodbye to his former associates before starting the rest of the season with the new club.

He was expected to attend this morning's Cardiff training session.
