Vetevendosje Movement Chairman Albin Kurti has met with US Ambassador to Kosovo Philip Costett at his office.
At this meeting, according to the Vetevendosje Movement communique, it has been talked about current issues in the country, including the tax.
“The two sides' positions on dialogue and customs duties on imports from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the damage being caused to the country by nepotism and corruption in the public sector and the necessity of reforming the public administration in Kosovo”, the Vetvendosje Movement media community said.
According to this communique, Kurti has announced the ambassador's positions that this party has faced dialogue with Serbia, why taxes and others should not be lifted.
In addition to the current issues at this meeting, according to Vetevendosje, it has also been discussed for the Kosovo diaspora in Europe and America.
The Vetevendosje movement has given support to the Haradinaj government in terms of the 100% tax on Serbian and Bosnian products.
While the US Embassy in Pristina has asked the Government to remove the tax, which has been publicly rejected by Prime Minister Haradinaj, who has in condition sought guarantees for the recognition of Kosovo state on Serbia's part.
