The number of lootings in Kosovo has marked significant increases, even from these plunderings has been victimised, but the Ministry of Internal Affairs has made a decision from now on that workers guarding banks are now equipped with guns, while for police patrols to be equipped with long arms, the Metro newspaper broadcast.
The news has been given by Interior Affairs Minister Ekrem Mustafa, where he explained that MPB and police have now made an operational plan aimed at halting this negative phenomenon happening in Kosovo.
I, as a minister, have initiated the license of security companies that are made of us to have licenses and to be trained not to have employees there by 150, but to change the regulation that they're willing to arm ourselves... We've also made the operational plan by not getting involved in the police plan, but to take measures for police patrols to carry long arms because it's disturbing that gangs are also using the <ex1>, Mustafa said.
We remember that the recent event in Istog where police Officer Izet Demaj was killed has alarmed all Kosovo institutions and citizens for special care during those days after the number of robberies has marked increases, the Metro newspaper broadcasts.
Help in apprehending MPB robbers and police have also sought out the Kosovo Intelligence Agency. /Periscopi
