<x) Once again, it was confirmed that the only way for stability in the region is that of dialogue and peace. The Balkans are moving safely towards Euro-Atlantic integration”, Haradinaj wrote.
Today, on January 25, 2019, Greece's Assembly with 153 votes “FOR”, 146 votes “KU BUW” and 1 vote “T Um... KAKE” has ratified the agreement Macedonia changed state name to: Northern Macedonia.
A few days earlier through Macedonia's double majority (81 votes) Assembly passed the ratification of the agreement with Greece, where, among other things, a multi-year bilate and international problem between the two neighbouring states is resolved. This agreement was signed in Prespa on June 17, 2018,
Earlier, before this agreement is voted, Greece's Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said: “we are at the end of a long, historic and tiring process. International agreements do not recognise nations but states and are made among states. With this agreement we have returned ancient Greek history to the site”.
Otherwise, there have been violent protests by Greek citizens and members of the Greek opposition in the pre-Kovert environments. The same reports have been reported burning the Macedonian flag.
The agreement between Macedonia and Greece has been strongly opposed by the Greek opposition, under which, with this identity agreement and Macedonian language, they will be pardoned to their northern neighbours.
