Family does not allow autopsy to be done to patients dying of flu at KKUK

A 40-year-old man from the Podujevo region, as well as a 41-year-old girl from Gjilan, have died in the last week at the KKUK Infectious Clinic. Both, according to the Infective leaders, are suspected to have changed their lives as a result of the flu epidemic.
So has declared today for Gazeta Express, director of the QKUK Infectious Clinic Hamdi Ramadani. He said that patients, a man and a woman have been admitted into serious health at the clinic. The male patient from Podujevo with initial A. St. (1979) had been affected by the virus two weeks before it lay in the clinic.
The doctor has explained that the male patient has been in therapy for over 10 years for treating depression.
The “has been with an influential type A virus and has become the infernal, as the patient has noted acute respiratory insulations with major changes in the lungs. The patient has been introduced to intensive therapy and has been constantly transmitted to his condition by infection, cardiologists, anesthesiologists, etc. Otherwise, the patient was also motionless on the right side of the body. Unfortunately, the patient passed away on January 22nd at 8 a.m.”, Ramadani declared.
Ramadani says even the patient from Gjilan with the initial H.M. (1978) has been admitted in serious condition on the 1701th. He had similar health problems.

And since last year in the CKUK Infective, six people have died. However, none of them have been autopsy designed to know the detailed causes of their life.
None of these families of dead patients have agreed to autopsy their patients. This would help us better see the directly responsible ones calling their death”, Ramadani said.
According to him, to date, flu - related hospitals in Infectia are 8 cases, as well as 8 other patients have received ambulance services.
The clinic he runs says that from 2018 to January of this year at KKUK Infecties, 267 positive cases have been recorded with the flu epidemic. With the influence virus A there have been 47 cases, influential B about 78 cases, as well as other cases according to Ramadani have only been clinical mirrors.
On the other hand about the deaths of these patients, the National Institute of Public Health has been declared, saying one of the patients has been affected by the type AH1pdm09.
“Patients have had chronic diseases of cardiovascular and respiratory systems and were not vaccinated with seasonal flu vaccine”, declared by the KSHP.
Meanwhile, more than 18 thousand suspected flu cases -- 3,233 cases of acute respiratory infections and 19 cases of severe acute respiratory infections -- have been reported in Kosovo from October 1st 2018 to today in IKSHP.
The cases are reported by all municipalities in Kosovo. The largest number of cases reported by municipalities: Pristina, Prizren and Podujevo, but none exceed the epidemic threshold.
During the 02th week (07.01.2019-13.01.2019) 1,617 cases of ILI and 319 cases of ARI and 3 cases of SARI were reported.
A total of 127 suspicious samples in the flu have been tested in the national flu centre's labs, of which 19 cases result in positive in type A Influence. Out of 19 positive cases in 3 samples has become subtyped and belongs to AH1pdm09 subtype
