Edita Tahiri does not stop, says Thaci in exchange of territory favors Milosevic, Putin and Vuciqi

Edita Tahiri, former chief negotiator in the dialogue with Serbia, has said that if Kosovo President Hashim Thaci agrees with Serbia that dialogue should be closed in exchange for territories, he would favour Slobodan Milosevic, Vladimir Putin's Aleksandar Vucinqi. According to Tahiri, if Serbia were to take the north, the imminent desire for Serbia's creation [...] would be satisfied.
According to Tahiri, if Serbia were to take the north, the imminent desire for the creation of Greater Serbia and the destabilisation of the Balkans would be satisfied.
This idea in dialogue is not open. If such debate were opened, politics called openings. Kosovo was born as a state after 100 years. We've been fighting for 100 years. We joined Albania that was our natural right. Independence was the compromise we chose. Now when Kosovo is a reality, the International Court of Justice recognised it as legal. Over 100 countries have recognized us. Any invasion of territory is to give Milosevic victory. Questioning this achievement is geopolitical failure and opening the way to return Russian influence to the Balkans. Great Serbia is made taking northern Kosovo, because it already has Bosnia. Again, the Serbian hegemony and new destabilisation would return. Russia we don't want, let us open doors to make Serbia big and comfort Serbian-Russian nationalists. Any exchange of territory, favours Milosevic, Putin undermines the interests of Albanians”, Tahiri has said at KTV's interactive.
She has commented on the composition of the negotiating team, which is led by Shpend Ahmeti and Fatmir Limaj. He said there are two problems. According to her, the first problem is the lack of platform, and the second is the lack of legitimacy of this team.
Tahiri has said it must be clear that borders are not affected and that states should recognise each other with current borders.
The mutual recognition between the two states is recognition between the two current states that are born from the former Yugoslavia with these borders. Kosovo has been declared independent in 2008 with these borders, and Serbia has its borders. It's about uncertainty. Unfairness is done when it comes to giving land for recognition. It's a contradiction, where you see propaganda, what if the exchange takes place and then we join Albania. What if we join Albania, why do we need recognition? She needs a seat at the UN. There's a lot of controversy in these ideas, and to get more clarity among the people, there must be clarity on the platform: The recognition of two states protecting Kosovo's borders. The prime minister is saying it, but it must be expressed on the platform and approved in the Assembly”, she added. /Time.net
