Bosnia expects Kosovo tax removal, warns negotiations

According to this source, preparations for bilateral meetings at the expert level for finding adequate solutions are already under way and for preventing the biggest consequences caused by the measures taken by Kosovo.
We can't predict the flow, but it's important that we have managed to open negotiations on the expert level. Instead of applying countermass, which no one would serve, we have created conditions for problems to be solved at a professional level, since our primary goal is to protect local businesses which in recent months cannot be exported in line with free trade regulations and to prevent damages”, Sharovic was quoted as declaring.
Bosnia and Herzegovina has been damaged for $4.5m after the BiH product tax was imposed on Pristina's part of the products.
Kosovo Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli, who has declared Wednesday that the US's demand for tax removal on products from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia cannot be rejected.
The Kosovo government in early November has imposed safeguard clauses on import of all products from Serbia and BiH.
Serbian Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunication Rasim Lajiq has said that direct damage in Serbia from the Kosovo tax assignment totals 34.6m euros, while indirect damage is much greater, writes clix.ba.
