UN: Albania with economic growth, reduction of unemployment

The United Nations organisation (OKB) projects a positive growth of the Albanian economy at 4% level for 2019.

In the recently released UN report on the economic situation, as well as the prospect of 2019, UN projections cite optimistic indicators for the Albanian economy.

Albania will be the fastest growing economy in the region for this year.

While for 2018, UN projections for the Albanian economy point to a growth rate of 4.2%. As far as inflation rate is concerned, the UN projects a recovery of 2.4% this year, airs at the polls.

While the report also speaks of Albania's progress over the past year, especially in terms of reducing unemployment to record levels and Albanian fiscal consolidation.
