Protesters have sought the immediate release of Selimi, Demak and their fellow fighters, as long as their stay in prison deemed it unfair.
Participants in this protest were attorney Tome Gashi, who called Sylejman Selimi's imprisonment a violation of human rights, while stressing that there is no judicial decision on suffering punishment.
So far we've filed dozens of emergencies for the release of Sylejman Selimi and so far we've had no positive result, and this is a violation of human rights”.
VV deputy Rexhep Selimi, former Sqaheraj leader Sami Lushtaku and other officials have also been seen in the protest.
Organisers have warned of holding upcoming protests until the release of Sylejman Selimi, Jahir Demakuk and their fellow fighters.
Remember, that Sylejman Selimi, along with several other former KLA fighters, had been sentenced in a long process known as “Drenica 2”.
