Halilaj says this decision by the Constitutional Court in Pristina is unfounded and constitutes serious violations.
The trial has approved the request to the State Prosecutor for the detention measure for 30 days. It is a decision that the Court has issued for a work never done. Even in spite of our clarifications and protection that we have no injury in this case, but the Court has taken it as a base of”, Halilaj said at a news conference.
According to him, the detention measure is determined only in cases when allegedly the accused could leave the state.
This measure is the last one to make sure the defendant is present in the procedure. A judge's decision is completely unfounded. Basic human rights have been violated. Law security was violated in the country”, Halilaj said.
He has traded that his decision will also be complained at the Court of Appeals.
