At the upcoming meeting of the Working Committee for European Integration, attended by members of this committee, European Integration Minister Award Hoxha has called for more commitment from all institutions to successfully implement the remaining European Reform Agency priorities as well as advance measures with the SAA.
This processing group, has identified some of the key issues stemming from the obligations of the SAA's National Implementation Plan (PKMZSA) and for which more needs to be worked, Minister Hoxha stressed.
“PKMSA is weak, the plan has not been realised. The report's findings are disturbing. We have pledged that this year we reach a level of implementation of the SAA Programme of at least 60%. Failure to implement the plan would have an impact on direct budgetary support for the Public Administration Reform”, Minister Hoxha stressed, according to the media statement submitted by this minister.
By the end of June, only 12.8% of all planned measures have been implemented in terms of implementation of legislative reforms, found to have achieved a level of implementation of only 18.06%, as only 26 of the 144 planned legislative measures” have been implemented, Minister Hoxha noted.
“As far as implementation of other reforms, the findings show that a level of implementation of only 10.82% has been reached, as only 42 of the 388 planned implementation measures have been implemented”, Minister Hoxha stressed, adding that the European Integration Ministry has consistently sent recognition letters to the measures each institution owes in the SAA programme, and again the outcome is very weak.
