The current chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, has written on his Facebook account about recent developments in the assembly, where the majority failed to make the numbers to vote the government-proposed negotiating team, writes Periscopi.
Mustafa has said today was difficult for Parliament and Kosovo. He added that Brussels and Washington saw that the majority is actually not majority, in the absence of numbers.
The former mayor of Pristina has declared that there can be no support, serious and interest in the country without a strong position and opposition.
This is Mustafa's full response to Facebook: “Today we experienced a difficult day for Parliament and for Kosovo. What we saw is that it's futile for the position to deceive itself, and to try to deceive Brussels and Washington because they're the majority because they're not actually majority. Therefore they can both individuals and teams go to Brussels and get photographed, but neither the president nor the government can make any deal because without the opposition can be ratified in the Assembly.
It is clear that for a content, serious and interest dialogue in the country, Kosovo needs a strong position and opposition outside of the Serbian List margin; people with political and civic legitimacy. There are new elections for serious and responsible dialogue. No manipulations to maintain power” /Periscopi
