Haradinaj: Kosovo, Albania must remove bureaucratic barriers

Republic of Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has received Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania Ditmir Bushati, with whom he has talked about political developments in Kosovo and Albania.
Initially, Prime Minister Haradinaj has announced Minister Bushati's priorities for the Government of Kosovo, the European Reforms Agency, economic development, strengthening order and law, fulfilling SAA obligations, dialogue between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia, and other issues of importance to the country.
According to a Government communique, Prime Minister Haradinaj has in this case praised Albania's role in supporting Kosovo in the statehood and other important processes for the country, saying co-operation between Kosovo and Albania should deepen further, in the area of economic development, trade exchanges, education, culture, health and other areas of common interest.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Haradinaj has called for Albania's support for the path to Euro-Atlantic integration, Kosovo's membership in INTERPOL, and other key regional and international organisations.
The support Albania has given for Kosovo in all stages has been important, so we demand that co-operation between the two countries continue even in the area of economic development. We must change economic parameters between ourselves and remove bureaucratic barriers”, Prime Minister Haradinaj said, thanking Minister Bushati for Albania's constructive role in regional co-operation.
The meeting also discussed agreements reached between the two countries and the level of implementation, as well as preparations being made for the joint meeting of the two governments to be held in Pec in November this year.
Meanwhile, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania, Ditmir Bushati, has praised Kosovo's progress by commending Prime Minister Haradinaj for the pro-visa liberalisation decision for Kosovo citizens from the European Parliament, at the same time has expressed the readiness of the Albanian state to continue supporting Kosovo on its Euro-Atlantic path.
