At Ferizaj's Greme today is the cornerstone for the construction of the Centre of Sports and Fairs, for which the Government of Kosovo has earmarked 1.2m euros.

To mark the start of the works was Kosovo Assembly Speaker Kadri Veselini, who was accompanied by Culture, Youth and Sports Minister Kujtim Gashi and Ferizaj chairman Agim Aliu.

Kosovo Parliament head Kadri Veselini said the village of Greme has deserved this investment, as they are the biggest taxpayers in the state budget. He has indicated that the idea for the project has been initiated by ferizaya deputies in the Kosovo Parliament.

The TTYopal Med has been initiated, along with Elmi Recica. These have been persistent to do so. That's why we've made a decision to invest. Kosovo needs investments, Kosovo needs economic development”, Veselin said.

Meanwhile, Minister Gashi said this is 100 per cent of the ministry he is running, while promising other investments in Greme.

This project will have a cost of 1.2m euros, and together with the mayor of the municipality according to dynamic planning the project will be completed in 2019.

Ferizaj Mayor Agim Aliu talking about the support the Government of Kosovo is giving to municipal projects, said these four years of its governance will be years of fundamental transformation of the city.

“Already ferizias is the chief center of economic development, while Greme is the chief resident of economic development. But it's not just about economic development and the approach the Assembly of Kosovo has, but, above all, it's about what it really wants a safe future for our youth. Not by chance my government has begun with the decision to establish and build the innovation center” has said Ali.

The project will have a cost of 1.2m euros, while it is expected to be completed in 2019. /
