That was in all the German championship games yesterday, in Bremen, Munchen, Freiburg and Hannover.
Werder Bremen Hertha Berlin was the first match, starting at 18:30, where fans protested. Local fans as well as guests protested the German Football Federation's decision to play midweek matches for TV reasons.
Fans and the Federation had a meeting during the week and failed to reach the right accord on television rights.
Bremen's fans remained silent 18 minutes and 30 seconds, unlike those of Herthas who did not sing 20 minutes, Periscope follows.
”Imagine that this is football and nobody comes to stadium”, ” Stop fighting between”, ” Football is for me and you, not for television sponsors”, were some of the cheers. /Periscopi/
