Edi Rama: Dialogue with Serbia large political piece, chewing it with dignity

Today's evening on Annie Vasili's “Open”, invited was Edi Rama. During the interview, over the strong debate on the exchange of territories between Kosovo and Serbia Rama has indicated that there is no way to take a stand, how long he calls it just an idea. Asked if there was [...]
Asked whether he has spoken with President Hashim Thaci and Aleksandar Vucic, he has indicated he has spoken with many political figures who are a decision-making part of the issue, but without specifying what is being placed in the focus of the conversation.
Are you pro or against changing borders? What does it mean to be pro? Or against?
The “means to be pro or against an idea that is very little... may be an idea to start a debate, but this is not a reason to separate. I think that in this process all those who have experience, knowledge, or ideas should contribute. That's not a contribution we're hearing, it's a cocoaphone. I've been talking to a lot of Kosovo politicians, but even more so that they're part of this decision-making world, whether they're American partners, etc., and I have the feeling that we're in front of a historic chance and we understand how we should approach.
Have you spoken to Vucic?
The reduction of the debate at this point is banality. We as Albanians seem to have a political approach. Dialogue itself with Serbia is a major political piece that we should be able to chew with unity and dignity”
