Nicole Hirsst, from Walker to Yorkshire, has narcolesis, which prevents her brain from adjusting to sleep, so she cannot control herself when she falls asleep.
And on top of that, an unusual side effect which means that every time Nicole laughs or fears she becomes paralyzed and falls on the floor.
The strange situation also affects her life in school and in society, but she was still able to succeed and be honored for 100 percent of her participation.
Before the drug started, Nicole would sleep for 23 hours a day, but now she sleeps three hours after school during the day.
