Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and Serbia's Aleksandar Vuciq will confront their positions in a debate that will take place today, Saturday, at the Alpbach European Forum.
Thaci and Vuciq will talk about the topic of European Union enlargement and the prospects of the two countries -- Kosovo and Serbia -- towards EU membership.
“Pres eager to discuss the prospect of expanding the European Union at the Alpbach Forum, one of the most important forums of social, political and economic debate in Europe”, the Kosovo president has written on Twitter on Friday.
Besides Thaci and Vuciqi, other leaders like Austria's president, Alexander Van der Bellen, Slovenia's President Borut Pahor and EU Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn will be present at this forum.
There will also be scholars, analysts and various journalists who will be part of the discussion.
The European Forum Alpbach is an interdisciplinary platform for science, politics, business and culture.
This forum was established in 1945 and over the years has addressed the socio-political problems of European countries.
