Threemen arrested for gun shooting at family parties in Mitrovica region

Over the past two days, police units in the Mitrovica region have reacted to three locations where there was information about shooting.

According to the police, police actions were oriented to identify the location where the shooting had been heard, such as in Mitrovica, Skenderaj and Vushtrri, where three weapons allegedly used at family parties have resulted in the rapid reaction of police units.

In quality of the suspects have been arrested three people who allegedly used weapons at family parties, while after the interviewing procedures three suspects have been released for regular procedure.

Cases for criminal work have been initiated against them cause of general danger and ownership, unauthorized gun control.

Police appeal to citizens to avoid such actions, where the use of weapons at parties and weddings is sanctioned by law. Police will take all actions under authorisations, including the detention of suspected persons, the halting of columns with weddings, as well as the raid of locations where weapons are suspected.
