But this year this race was held in Mirusha Falls. The opening was done with a performance of Mirushe climbers. Only eight contestants participated in the race.
Dances were performed from 8m to 16m in height. The surveys were conducted by Mitrovica's “Trepca”, while the medical assistants were from the House of Health in Malisheva.
The danceers' assessment, meanwhile, was made by the jury consisting of Avdyl Osmani, Tomor Musa and Ymer Lota, founder of Club “Bridge Divers”.
Tomor Musa, who is also part of the organisers, said he hopes the Mirusa contest will become traditional, like the one in Gjakova. Although this time the modest number of dancers have taken part in the race.
The first seat in the 8m-high dance category has won Blerim Curri, who told Kosovo Press that this victory has made him feel very well.
While the winner of the 16m-high race, also one of the organisers of the race, Florit Gashi, said he feels very pleased after the race ended without injuries, but as he put it, felt even better after being declared winner of the race.
Part of the audience was the first female dancer in Kosovo, Gonge Basha. She told Kosova Prees that she is quite pleased with the organisation of the race and that this sport is not being put aside in Kosovo.
Organisers announced that dance competitions will be organised next week, at Radonici Lake in Gjakova, with dancing from 15m high.
