Ibrahim Matosti's brother, Musli Matosi, has written on Facebook calling on President Hashim Thaci, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, Foreign Affairs Minister Behxhet Pacolli, Chief Parliamentary Kadri Veselin, Minister of European Integrations Grant Hoxha, People's Lawyer Hilmi Jashari, political parties' representatives, the Council of Lawyers, civil society and the media, to help free his brother, as his protection exceeds family opportunities.
He called for response and institutional support, saying the two states should discuss as this is a political topic and protect other citizens who can be convicted of such charges.
I want you to know that the protection of Abraham exceeds our family labor. The protection of Ibrahim requires reaction and institutional support and is transformed into a political theme that should be discussed between two states with the aim of protecting other citizens who could become part of such factories. Ibrahim and we as the family today need your institutional, professional political help. By assisting Abraham, you help Kosovo's institutions and citizens, which is your conscience and your institutional obligation”, Matosi wrote.
Also, calls for help he has been made by EU representative in Kosovo Natalia Apostolova, EU Mission chief Jan Braathhu and representatives of Quintão in Kosovo.
If you are a representative of the amicable organizations, dealing with the protection of human rights, and are a representative of the respective states that defend human rights under the principles specified in international conventions for human rights, we call on you to help us free Abraham.

He has warned that he will organise a protest in Gjilan and Pristina, on behalf of Ibrahimi, along with human rights activists.
