Serbian analyst: Serbia to recognise Kosovo independence

Negotiations on Kosovo are only going in one direction that Serbia will have to recognise Kosovo's independence. How will Serbia do that, we don't know, decisions are made in the close circle of people around President Vuciq, says Serbian magazine political analyst “Vreme” Andrey Ivanji. He adds that meeting [...]
“Vuciq with Putin cannot solve anything as far as Kosovo is concerned, because this is being resolved on the other side of the globe, but the problem is that we are constantly going to have “overload” with different information on resolving this issue... We even had weekends waiting for a start-up war in Kosovo, which, as you can see, did not happen”, Ivanji said.
“Other than all the information that is being cracked, it cannot be understood which solution would be acceptable for Serbia, but it is evident that everything goes towards recognising Kosovo's independence”, he added.
In question of whether Russia protects Serbia's interests as far as Kosovo is concerned, Ivanji says the only thing Russia can do is to prevent Kosovo from becoming a member of the United Nations.
I don't think our side goes with anything in Moscow. What proposal?... It's gonna be nice for Vuchchi to meet Putin, and then report on this, so we don't talk about anything else... I don't believe that Russia in general is interested in coming up with any proposals for Kosovo”, Andrej Ivanji has declared Serbia's N1 media.
