The Russian Foreign Ministry has said on Monday that allegations of Moscow's intervention in poisoning former Russian spy Sergei Scripal and his daughter, Yulia in Sallsbury, are groundless, Reuters broadcast.
“We see groundless claims of Russia's involvement in the Sallsbury incident, in another attempt to demonstrate our state that carried out international obligations, in a irresponsible manner”, this minister said in a statement.
Washington has announced 8 August that it will impose new sanctions against Russia late August, after praising that Moscow has used nervous agents against the Scripals.
Sergei and Yulia Scripal have been found unconsciously near a bench on March 4th.
The West charges Moscow with using its nervous agent, Novico vs Scripals, substance discovered by the Soviet Army in the Cold War period.
