The chairman of the former US Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, who during a conference with his Russian counterpart, has taken up the birthday celebration of former US President Bill Clinton, who was celebrated by activists Sunday in Pristina.
“I think that the very fact that Daciq, minister of foreign affairs and deputy prime minister of Serbia, deals with the celebration of President Clinton's birthday by a civil organisation, and that at the conference with journalists along with Lavrov, Russia's minister of foreign affairs, shows that he and Serbian institutions, perhaps even Russian, may have been very painful, the question is that Albanians have begun to think more politically, to make the pragmatic, short-term, medium-term, and <18x>, Rexhepi for Kosovas.
Rexhepi's full statement:
We think our move has been very well organized and well thought out, since the beginning of the birthday celebration of the former president of the United States of America. We've been aware that the action has human effects, pro-diplo-diplomatic effects, the reason is simple, because he's one of the most powerful people in all the living presidents of the United States and very influential.
I think that the very fact that Mr. Dachic, minister of foreign affairs and deputy prime minister of Serbia, deals with the celebration of President Clinton's birthday by a civil organisation, and that at the conference with journalists along with Lavrov, the minister of foreign affairs of Russia, shows that he and Serbian institutions, perhaps even Russian, may be very painful, the question is that Albanians are beginning to think better politically, make pragmatic, short-term, medium-term policies. They are not aiming at what Dachic has declared, taking territories to Nis, even because they have been our territories, but we are aware that the current policy does not allow such actions to take place. So we respect every action and decision of our allies and especially our top and traditional ally of the United States.
What is obvious, Daciqi cannot yet overcome the fact that President Clinton dealt a powerful blow to Milosevic's regime, which was part of which Dacic himself.
We will continue with the celebration of President Clinton's birthday even in the coming years more pompously and other American personalities, if there is a need to celebrate. We're going to have our state, national, and American state holidays.
God bless the people and institutions of Kosovo and God bless the people and the institutions of the United States.
By contrast, activists from the Association “America's Miquore” on Sunday in Pristina have celebrated President Bill Clinton's birthday.
