It is time for a final agreement on dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, so has former EU High Representative for Kosovo Wolfgang Petric said, adding that a very small correction of the borders is needed.
He has said it is extremely important that reaching an agreement between Belgrade and Pristina be acceptable to all sides.
In an interview for N1 Petric, he believes dialogue has reached that point, that a decision should be made eventually.
“I don't believe that issues like this can continue without making decisions” has said, raising concerns that the frozen conflict between Kosovo and Serbia can continue for a certain time, taken by the Serbian daily Blic '%s'.
He has said there is a willingness of both sides to reach a joint agreement, reminding the European Commission that it would be good for the final agreement to take place by the first months of next year.
If a solution is not reached, I'm afraid this will be a loss for Alexander Vucinciqi, Thaci, Moghrin. If the solution is not done now, it will take a long time. It may not be the ideal solution, but real politics and life are never perfect”, Petric added.
But the idea of moving borders has been sharply opposed by Prime Minister Haradinaj.
Meanwhile, Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq has said a few days ago that Kosovo and Serbia are far from reaching a final agreement, while in exchange for territories there is no question.
